Better Together
At the back of my house is a large room (approx. 350 sqft). When we moved in it was a sunken 1970s pit with a wood-burning stove. Very groovy, but also very useless with a wheelchair and dangerous with Nina and a wheelchair. So we removed the stove and raised the floor (but kept the forest/mountain mural) and used it inefficiently for a year and a half. Now that has changed!! Meet the Rumpus Room! Nina was scared to sleep alone and Ramona was spending way too much time in bed alone. Now Ramona can be where she’s comfy and Nina isn’t lonely at night. Opposite the beds is a computer hutch and my lazyboy. Life is good in the Rumpus Room!
