Of Mice and Men

I think the current snail fixation is just gross…and worse, deadly! Nina calls the snails friends until they do something she disagrees with (like not come out of the shell) then she crushes them with her shoe for “not being nice”. Her general behavior toward insects and small vermin disturbs me. The other day she committed mass-murder by gathering all the rolly-pollies she could find, sticking them in a plastic jar with a lid, then while dancing around and yelling, “it’s a maraca!” shaking them to death!
