Grey is really embracing the so called “terrible twos”. He is my first distinct example of the behavior. Mony’s never been willful or independent, and Nina was born willful and independent so we never saw a distinction. But Grey, sweet Grey, was not born willful and independent. In fact, he’s been mellow and needy. I, for one, have enjoyed his temperament, immensely. But the time has come for independence, at least while there are no strangers/visitors at the house.

The photo above was taken two days ago. If you look closely you can see Grey…against the fence…holding on for dear life. He refused to come inside after grocery shopping. He stayed out there for 20 minutes…against the fence. Finally, as I couldn’t stand around and watch him all day, I had to chase him down, wrestle him to the ground and carry him inside. He thought he was hysterical.
